On May 12th more than 800 attended the Ag Unite event in Modesto. Here is the video played during the program of local farmers and landowners describing the challenges they face from bureaucracy.
Chico Ag Unite – June 2013
More than 600 people attended Ag Unite Chico in June of 2013.
Attendees watched a powerful video with local farmers telling their stories of regulatory burden.
California Farm Bureau 1st Vice President and Butte County Olive Oil producer Jamie Johansson welcomed the attendees.
The Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico offered the prefect venue to host the large crowd of farmers, ranchers and agriculture businesses.
Each attendee took home a small packet of information to help them get involved and stay involved in Farm Bureau and uniting agriculture.
A video featuring five local North State farmers depicted the burdens of regulation and the importance of getting involved now.
California Farm Bureau President Paul Wenger shared with the crowd what it is going to take for agriculture to be a leader in curbing regulation and having a greater position in Sacramento.
